Donna Lee Zobie

Donna Lee Zobie, 78, of Rotterdam passed away peacefully at Ellis Hospital on Saturday March 30, 2024, with her son's Corey and Aaron and niece Deborah by her side.  Born in Niskayuna on September 30, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Ruth (Gillett) Sehl.

Donna was employed as an injection mold specialist for Campbell Plastics.  In her earlier years Donna enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing pinnacle, trips to the casino and watching her favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys.

Donna was also known for her beautifully painted nails.  One of Donna's great pleasures was having family celebrations, especially at Halloween and Christmas.  She will always be remembered for her love of large Christmas trees.

Donna is predeceased by her siblings Dawn, Bruce, and Gale.

Donna is survived by her son's Aaron (Tina) Decker and Corey (Terry) Decker and daughter Sherri Miller. Donna is also survived by her grandchildren Alyssa, Tyler and Kerri.  Nieces Loretta, Yvonne, and Diane as well as Christine and Gracie whom she shared a special bond with. Deborah (Patrick) Norris and family whom she shared a lifetime of memories and adventures with. Nephews Steven (Sue), David and Donald (Rosanny). Sometimes friends are as close as family and Donna had many.  From her close friends Agnes and Wendy as well as her friends Sue and Maria who she was predeceased by.

Thank you to the wonderful team of doctors, nurses, and other staff at Ellis Hospital, who took such special care of Donna in her final days.

Services for Donna will be Thursday evening at 6pm at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.  Visitation will be from 4 to 6pm prior to the service.
