Donald H Reamon

Donald H. (Foxy) Reamon 94 of Canajoharie died Friday morning September 22, 2006 at home after a short illness. Born in Canajoharie, Don was a graduate of Cornell University and an Army Veteran of WWII. He. Worked at Arkell & Smith Paper Factory ,the General Electric and the Beechnut factory before he went to work as an Engineer for New York State in the Office of General Services, he retired in 1976. He was a member of St. Peter and St Paul Church , the Moose lodge, the VFW and the American Legion. Don was predeceased in 2002 by his wife Clara Kretser Reamon and his sister Priscilla in 2005. He is survived by his children, Patricia Palleschi and husband Alfred of Canajoharie and Thomas Reamon and wife Carole of Ghent, NY, 5 grandchildren, Sean and Jason Palleschi and Lauren ,Kristen and Tommy Reamon . Funeral services will be held Monday September 25, 2006 at 10:30 am at the Lenz and Betz Funeral home,69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie followed at 11 am at St Peter and St Paul Church, Cliff and Walnut Street where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Calling hour will be held at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 4 to 6 pm. Interment in Canajoharie Falls Cemetery, Contributions may be made in his memory to Ayres Animal Shelter ,133 Hilltop Road Sprakers, NY 12166 or to Mountain Valley Hospice, 73 n.
