Donald E Pierone

Donald E. Pierone 72 of Schenectady, died Saturday afternoon October 13, 2007 at Cranesville Nursing Home in Dalton, MA. Born and educated in Schenectady, Donald was a graduate of Draper High School and the son of the late Joseph and Pauline (Zurlick) Pierone. A truck driver for Adirondack Beverage in Scotia, Don worked for them for over 30years before retiring in the early 2000's. An avid sportsman he loved hunting and fishing and was a member of the Guan-Ho-Ha Rod and Gun Club ,the Rotterdam Elks and Rotterdam Eagles Club. Donald was the father of the late Jeffrey Pierone and brother of the late Richard and Harold Pierone. Survivors include two children; Donald Pierone of Germany and Denise Pierone of Fl., two brothers; Joseph Pierone (Frieda) of Rotterdam and Ronald Pierone (Mary) of Schenectady, 3 grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home from 10 to 11am prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in St John the Baptist Cemetery, Schenectady.
