Dixie Lou Wills

Dixie Lou Wills 60 of Ballston Lake, NY, died Thursday morning January 22, 2009 at Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga, NY. Born in Lake Placid, NY and was the daughter of the late Carman King and Louise (Gorrow) Green and was also predeceased by her brother Shawn Green in 1962. A homemaker, Dixie was a former member of St. Margaret of Cortona Church in Rotterdam Junction and enjoyed bingo, traveling, coffee shops and talking with people. Dixie is survived by her children, Shawn Cathey of Texas, Dixie Malgerie of Schenectady and Louise Loika (Rick) of Rotterdam Junction, her step-father, George H. Green Jr. of Rotterdam Junction, her sisters and brothers, Sherry Ripepi (Frank) of Amsterdam, Carman Howe (Danny) of Glens Falls, Kim Green of Schenectady, Michael Green (Patricia) of Scotia, Peter Green of Schoharie and George Green of Florida, and 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday morning January 24th at 10:30 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 to 12 noon following the memorial service.
