Delores M Peterson (Sheldon)

Delores M. Peterson, 88, of Schenectady passed away on Wednesday May 18, 2016 at the Joan Nicole Prince Home in Scotia surrounded by her loving family. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Sanford and Susan Sheldon. She was a homemaker. Delores was a member of the Rotterdam United Methodist Church. To all who knew her, she was known affectionately as "Aunt Dee". Delores is predeceased by her husband Robert B. Peterson and her daughter and son in law Pamela and William Stryker. She is also predeceased by her sister Shirley DeVito. Delores is survived by her two loving sons Bruce Peterson of Schenectady and Kenneth Peterson of Rotterdam, one brother Richard Sheldon (Oliva). Also survived by 3 grandchildren Jennifer, Alyson and Chanel as well as several nieces and nephews and her dog Daisy. Funeral Services for Delores will be Monday at 11am at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A calling hour will be Monday 10-11AM prior to the service. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery in Schenectady.
