Delcene R. Donohue

Delcene R. Donohue, 70, of Schenectady passed away at Capstone Nursing Home on Friday July 25, 2025. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of John and Philomena (DeSantis) Donohue.

Delcene grew up in Schenectady and graduated from schalmont high school. She attended SUNY SCCC and had an Associate degree in computer science. She spent her career in the health field taking care of others as a CNA and worked at the home of the Good Shepard in Malta. Delcene was a big lover of music and books, she also enjoyed spending her pass time outside in nature and tending to her flower beds.

Delcene is predeceased by her late husband Frank Berberick.

Delcene is survived by her two daughters Sarah Mascaro (Tim) and Rhiannon Rosen (Alexander), her sister Linda Famiano, her grandchildren Noah Mascaro, Owen Mascaro, Mason Mascaro. Ayden Knoblauch and Gianna Rosen. She also leaves behind her cousins Karen Astemborski, Diane Babbie and Barbara Jones as well as her niece and nephew Alissa Famiano and David Famiano.

A Celebration of Delcene's life will be in Friday August 8, 2025, at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady from 11AM -1PM.
