David Edward Wright

David E. Wright formerly of Bellevue passed away Friday April 15th at his home in Rotterdam. Born in Northville, NY, David was the son of the late Franklyn and Lorena (Moore) Wright and a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and Albany Business College. An accountant for many years, David retired in the mid 1980's. He was a member of the Rotterdam United Methodist Church and active with the Boy Scouts of America for over 50 years. Predeceased by his brothers, Rev. Franklin Wright and Donald Wright, David is survived by his beloved wife Eleanor (Rettie) Wright whom he married on February 24, 1951, his children; William W. Wright (Laima) of Schenectady,Deborah A. Barker (Terry) of Amsterdam and Karen L. Wright of Rotterdam as well as 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A service with military honors will be held on Friday April 22, 2016 at 2:30pm at Gerald B.H. Solomon Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY .relatives and friends are invited to attend.
