David Smith

David C. Smith Sr.,68, of Richmondville passed away on Saturday December 10, 2022.

David was born on April 17, 1954, in Niskayuna, NY and was the son of the late Alexander and Lola (Borst) Smith.

A Marine Corp. veteran from 1972 to 1978, David a welder / foreman for Phillips Medical Systems in Latham for more than 20 years. A Jack of all trades, David enjoyed his tropical fish and woodworking.

Predeceased by his brothers, Alexander and Jack Smith, David is survived by his wife Lee May-Smith who he married on September 17, 1983, his son David Smith Jr. (Theresa) of Rotterdam, grandchildren, Alexander, Logan and Madison Smith, his sister Carol Haight of Louisiana and nieces and nephew, Wendy and Robby, Deidre and Richard, Michele and John and Gary.

All services will be private.

Entombment in St Cyrils Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. in David's memory.
