David Mulyca

David Jon Mulyca,85 passed away on Wednesday April 6th at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY

Born and educated in Schenectady, David was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Ramutkowski) Mulyca and a graduate of the former Draper High School and Hudson Valley Community College.

A self-employed finish carpenter and general contractor, David enjoyed spending time outdoors, planting trees, tending to his gardens, working on his tractor, bee keeping, building things and square dancing. He also enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, taking Sunday drives and painting.

Predeceased by his son Mark and his brothers George and Vincent, David is survived by his beloved wife, Marlies (Dau) Mulyca, his son Jonas J. Mulyca and his wife Carmen, his grandchildren, Madyson, Marina and Marek Mulyca , his sister, Cindy Enos Perillo (Steve) and his many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday morning April 12th at 11 am at the Schenectady Memorial Park Mausoleum, Gifford Church Road, Rotterdam, NY. A visitation will be held at the mausoleum from 10 to 11 am prior to the service.

Interment Schenectady Memorial Park.
