David E Lamp

David E. Lamp, 75, of Gordon Road, Rotterdam died Thursday June 14, 2007 at the Northeast Center for Special Care in Ulster County after a long illness. Born in Rotterdam, NY, he was the son of the late Earl and Grace (Ryder) Lamp. David was employed for 25 years in Shipping for GE in Schenectady, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the 2nd Reformed Church in Rotterdam. Survivors include his wife Anne Propper Lamp whom he married December 3, 1955, one daughter Phyllis A. Vorkapich ( Mark) of Glenville, one brother Carl Lamp of Esperance, 2 Grandchildren-Kelli Roney ( Jarod) and Jodi Vorkapich, also survived by one Great Grandchild Charles Roney. A Graveside Service will be Tuesday June 19, 2007 at 3PM at Viewland Cemetery Putnam Road in Rotterdam. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Arrangements are by the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.
