Darryl T Jackson

Darryl T. Jackson, 62, passed away on Monday morning December 6th at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.

Born and educated in Schenectady, Darryl was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Vroman) Jackson and a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School.

A youth Corrections Officer for more than 26 years for the Office of Children and Family Service for New York State, Darryl had a joy of telling stories, spending his free time with his family and friends, working on cars, fishing and take photographs.

One of 11 children, Darryl was predeceased by his brothers, Thomas Clemons, Carlos Jackson Sr., Kenneth Jackson, Joseph Jackson, and his sisters, Florence Clemons, Marilyn Allen, Sylvia Jones and Pamela Tanner.

Darryl is survived by his wife Barbara (Browder) Jackson and his 9 children, Priscilla Jackson, Clarence Terry, Rhonda Evans (Noel), Latosha Abraham, Kristen Abraham, Ronald Abraham Jr., Bryan Abraham, Brandon Abraham (Edith) and Eric Abraham, his 2 sister’s, Macy Clemons and Patricia Langston, 15 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Darryl’s life will be held on Tuesday December 14th at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 11 to 1 pm prior to the service.

Interment will be at Memory Gardens in Colonie, NY
