Collette (Williams) Reger, 91, passed away on March 22, 2018 at Glendale Home after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Born Aug 17, 1926, to the late Warren and Rose (Griesmer) Williams, Collette lived in Rotterdam her entire life. She attended Draper school, worked at GE during WWII, and married Harold on June 5, 1948. She was involved in the community with the Girls Club, Rotterdam Little League, and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW post 1895. Collette was predeceased by her loving husband, Harold; siblings, Robert Williams and Rita Marshall. Collette is survived by her twin sister, Colleen Neuhaus; sister in law, Gladys Williams; children, Dennis (Deborah) Reger, Deborah (Dan) Massaroni, David (Patricia) Reger and Daniel (Krysia) Reger; her cherished 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A celebration of Collette's life will be held on Thursday, April 5th at 10 am at the Glendale Home Activity Center, (please use the rear entrance to the activity room at the nursing home) 59 Hetcheltown Road in Glenville, NY to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4-7 at Bond Funeral Home, 1614 Guilderland Avenue in Schenectady, NY. Her loving daughter and care giver for the last 11 years wishes to extend her appreciation to all who may have touched Collette's life at Glendale Home, as well as a heartfelt thank you to Hospice for their compassionate care.
