Clifford G. Sheldon,73, passed away Monday January 30th at his home in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady, Clifford was the son of the late Gordon M. and Eileen B.(Sweeny) Sheldon, father of the late Clifford M. Sheldon and grandfather of the late John Fountain. A master plumber for more than 30 years with local 105 in Schenectady, Clifford was a jack of all trades who loved hunting, fishing and traveling. Predeceased by his wife of 39 years Sandra (Mazzie) Sheldon, Clifford is survived by his son, William N. Sheldon (Tammy) of Schenectady, his fiancé, Virginia Charboneau of Schenectady, brothers, Roger Sheldon (Frances) of Rotterdam and Warren W. Sheldon (Betty Ann Hughes) of Schenectady, a sister, Gwen E. Sheldon of Schenectady, daughter-in-law, Linda Sheldon of Amsterdam, cherished friend of over 70 years, Ralph Cozzolino of Schenectady, grandchildren, Brian, Justina and Anthony Sheldon of Schenectady and Luke and Sandy Sheldon of Amsterdam and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon February 2nd at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 to 1 pm prior to the services. Interment in Parkview Cemetery in Schenectady, NY
