Clifford Mango of Charlton, NY was taken to heaven on August 15th.
He was the son of Clifford and Veronica Mango and the brother of Dolores Hogan all predeceased.
A United State Navy Veteran, Clifford served on the U.S.S. Midway during the Korean War,He worked for the General Electric Company as a Turbine Machinist .
A member of the Rotterdam Elks, Clifford volunteered much of his time to veterans causes.
Clifford leaves behind his beloved wife of 64 years, Marva (Russell) Mango, his children, Karen Grinmanis (Ray), Clifford Mango (Kelley), Brenda Dorfer (Jeff) and Patricia Rorick (Late William (Bill) Jr), his grandchildren, Nicole Mango-Moise (Robert), Alyssa Mango, Kevin Mango, Amanda Palma, Amber Quill (Nick), William (BJ) Rorick III (Hayley), his great granddaughter, Kailynn Wynia and many lifelong friends.
Services for Cliff will be held on Friday afternoon August 26th at 12:15 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady followed at 1 pm at St Luke’s Church, State Street, Schenectady where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 10 to 12 noon prior to the services.
Interment in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery with Military Honors.
In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Clifford’s memory to Local Veteran of Foreign War Post in your area.
