Our beloved son Christopher David Ciancetta 29, passed away peacefully on Monday evening June 27, 2016 with his family by his side after long battle with a brain tumor. Born in Niskayuna, NY on September 6, 1986, Chris was the beloved son of David and Debra Ciancetta of Duanesburg. A graduate of Scotia Glenville High School, Christopher received an associates degree in Construction Technology from HVCC in 2007 and became a master of that trade. Chris was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting with his dad, cycling, hiking, motorcycles and especially his 2000 Camaro. Christopher was loved by many and had a contagious laugh and loved bringing people together to have a great time. He has earned his wings and will fly high in heaven. He has his right to be at peace with all of our beloved family including his grandmothers Antoinette DeRuscio and Margaret Ciancetta. Besides his parents David and Debra, Christopher is survived by his sister, Ashley (Ciancetta)Mancino and her husband Berardino, his grandfather, Consul Ciancetta, his aunts and uncles, Thomas Ciancetta and Patricia Clausi, David and Lisa Stuart,Paul Ciancetta and Pamela Stuart,his cousins,Nicholas Michael and Maria Ciancetta, his fiance' Lisa Mello, his German Shepard and best friend,Dallas and numerous dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning July 2, 2016 at 8:45 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY, followed at 9:30 am at St Anthony's Church, 331 Seward Place, Schenectady, Ny where a mass of christian burial will be held. A visitation for Christopher will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 4 to 7 pm.
