Christine A. Battaglino

Christine A. Battaglino, 81, wife of the late Joseph W. Battaglino of Schenectady, was called home Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Ellis Hospital.

Christine was born on December 27, 1944, in Niskayuna, NY. She was 1 of 3 children of the late Irving and Maylen (St. Pierre) Osterhout. Christine was a homemaker throughout her adult life.

Christine loved being around family for the holidays and always exuded such happiness when she saw her nieces and nephews and watched them grow through the stages of their lives.

She is survived by her sister Bridget A. Guarino; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Joseph, Christine was predeceased by her sisters, Kathleen R. Knorowski and Phyllis M. Gras.

Services will be held in private at Bond Funeral Home.
