Christina J Danley

August 31, 1959 — December 23, 2017

Christina J. Danley 58, passed away Saturday evening December 23, 2017 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born and educated in Evanston, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late John and Margie (Telander) Danley and a graduate of Randolph Union School . Christina received her Masters degree at S.U.N.Y. Albany. An artist and celloist in chamber music and the symphony at S.U.N.Y. Albany, Christina was a master gardener and the former manager of the community garden. For over 14 years she was employed by Price Chopper. Christina is survived by her husband James D. Cranston of Schenectady, her brothers:John and Mike Danley of Essex Junction , VT, sisters; Susan Mack of Burlington,VT and Amy Danley-White of Bethel, VT. A visitation will be held on Saturday December 30th from 11 to 2:30 pm at Bond Funeral Home ,Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A service will be held at the funeral home at 12 noon with Father Michael Neufeld Officiating. At the conclusion of the visitation a Wiccan service will be held . Any contribution can be made in Christina's Memory to her husband James to help with any financial burden that may happen do to her passing away.
