Chlorenda A. Brennan

Corine Brennan, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, in Belmont, MA. She was 84 years old.

Born in Troy, NY, on June 10, 1942, Corine grew up in New York and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School. She was the cherished daughter of Frank Latrell and Virginia Brooks Latrell.

Corine shared over 25 years of marriage with her high school sweetheart, Richard Brennan. Together, they raised their family in a warm and welcoming home in Guilderland, NY. She is survived by her sister Janice Swiergiel of Schenectady, NY, her loving children: her daughter, Kelly First and her husband, David, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; and her son, Richard Brennan and his wife, Ashley, of Hingham, MA.

While Corine enjoyed a successful and fulfilling professional career spanning medical, financial, and pharmacy administration, her primary and most treasured vocation was always being a mom and a "Nana." At this, she truly excelled. Corine poured her heart into her four grandchildren—Jack, Logan, Lilly, and Oliver—leaving them with endless, beautiful memories. She was a hands-on Nana who taught them everything from how to properly throw a baseball to the simple joy of picking out the best pinecones.

Corine will be remembered by all who knew her as a deeply loving woman, a dedicated entertainer, and the ultimate "Professional Hockey Mom" whose home was always a place of warmth and comfort. Her legacy of unconditional love, patience, and joy will live on forever in the hearts of her family.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend Corine's Funeral Mass on Monday August 3rd at 10AM in St. Paul the Apostle Parish, 2777 Albany Street, Schenectady, New York 12304. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
