Cheryl R Amburg,73, passed away early Wednesday morning May 10th at St. Peters Hospital in Albany with family by her side after a long illness.
Born in Schenectady, Cheryl was the daughter of the late Alexander and Dorothy (DeNovio) DeFelice and a graduate of Springfield High School.
A member of St Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in Clifton Park, Cheryl enjoyed ceramics, shopping and spending her time with her family and her friends.
Predeceased in 2019 by her beloved husband of 39 years Albert T Amburg who she married on November 8th of 1980, her children; Bill Adams (Tara) of Johnstown and Debra Varrone (Bill) of Scotia, her grandchildren; James Stirzaker (Rachel), Alex Roach, Lauren Adams and Kacie Adams, her sister; Dorren DeFelice of Saratoga Springs,her niece; Karleigh DeFelice and one great grandchild; Albert James Stirzaker.
A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held on Wednesday May 17, 2023, at 11:30 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:30 am prior to the services.
Inurnment will be held at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at 1:30 pm following the services.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, 33 Wilson Blvd., Suite 330, Arlington, VA.22201
