Charles C Morck

Charles C. Morck 70 of Perth died Friday morning January 18th at Ellis Hospital surrounded by his family. Born and raised in Amsterdam, Chick was the son of the late Charles and Virginia (Coleman) Morck. An Air Force veteran, Chick was a graduate of St Mary's Institute in Amsterdam and a life long resident. Chick was a mechanical and electrical engineer for over 30 years for White Mop Wringer Company before his retirement in 2001. He also worked for the New York State Thruway Authority as a toll collector for the past 15 years. Chick was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church in Hagaman, NY, a former Eagle Scout , a former member of the St Joseph church and its Holy Name Society and a former member of the Concordia Club in Gloversville. An avid outdoorsman, Chick's life centered on his wife and children and the rest of his family. He enjoyed camping, boating, hunting and he loved to ride his motorcycle. He is survived by his wife of 46 years ,Ann Marie(DeNovio) Morck who he married on April 8th,1961, his children, Lynn M. Morck of Amsterdam, Kathy A. Morck of Broadalbin and David C. Morck of Perth, his sister, Judi M. Ramirez of Amsterdam and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday evening January 23, 2008 from 4 to 8 pm at the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger Family Funeral Home,171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010 .On Thursday morning January 24,2008 a memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am at St. Stephens Church, Pawling Street, Hagaman, NY.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 or the American Cancer Society, Albany , NY or to a charity of ones choice. Arrangements are by the Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY
