Cecilia M Vaeth

Cecilia M. Vaeth 88 of Scotia died Friday morning August 18, 2006 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Rome, NY, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna (Ast)Kler. Cecilia worked for the General Electric Company for over 39 years before her retirement in 1980. She was a member of the G.E. ? century club and enjoyed spending her time with family, cooking and playing cards. Cecilia is survived by her husband Kempton E. Vaeth who she married July 27, 1974, three children, Karen E. Teal (LeRoy) pf Rotterdam, Kathy E. Hastings (Randy) of Scotia and Kurtis E. Vaeth of Boynton Beach, FL., .a sister Helen Tambs of Canastota, NY, grandchildren Robyn A. Weaver, Robert McGee 3rd and Karl E. Vaeth, great grandchildren, Nicholas, Cora and Taylor and several nieces and nephews. Cecilia was also predeceased by a son Kenneth E. Vaeth. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning August 22, 2006 at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 am prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park at a later date.
