Catherine Theophiles 91 died Monday morning July 30th at her niece's home on Saratoga Lake. Born in Saratoga Springs, Catherine lived in Schenectady and was the daughter of the late William and Harriett Theophiles. A secretary for the General Electric for over 35 years, Catherine was a member of St George Greek Orthodox Church, the GE Quarter Century Club and enjoyed traveling, golf and bowling. She is survived by her niece Andrea Strait (Mark) of Saratoga Lake, nephews, Gerald O'Brien (Karen) of Schenectady, William O'Brien (Sherry) of Virginia, Ralph DeLuke, Anthony DeLuke (Beth) and William DeLuke all of Duanesburg, 6 great nieces,4 great nephews and several great great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening August 1st from 5 to 8 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady with a trisagion prayer service being held at 8 pm at the funeral home. Private funeral service will be held at St Georges Greek Orthodox Church on Thursday. Interment in Greenridge Cemetery, Saratoga Springs, NY.
