Carol Thwaits Seymour

Carol Thwaits Seymour, 80, of Rotterdam passed away peacefully at home on Sunday November 27, 2022. Born in Utica, she was the daughter of the late Dexter and Maryann (Wilson) Thwaits.

Carol was a kind and loving soul, giving much of her time to helping others. She touched many lives with her compassion and love.

She was the owner of Crafts by NACA selling her handiwork at craft shows in the area. Carol was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Rotterdam acting as an usher at weekly Masses. She was also a lifetime member of the DAV and supporter of the Rotterdam Kiwanis.

Carol was predeceased by her brother Gary Thwaits.

She is survived by her loving husband Norman A. Seymour, two sons Michael Seymour (Rhona) of Westchester, NY and David Seymour (Mindy) of Smithtown, NY, her brothers William Thwaits (Gloria) of Rotterdam and Bob Scheuer (Camille) of Florida and her sister Betty Steuerwald (Late Harold) of Minorville, NY as well as five grandchildren-Zach, Dylan, Ashley, Amiee and Emily.
