Carol Ann Aperance (Harmon)

Carol Ann (Harmon) Aperance 69 passed away Tuesday evening March 22nd at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born and educated in Massena, NY, Carol Ann was the daughter of the late Terrance and Ena (Barclay) Harmon and a graduate of Massena High School. A former employee of both K-Mart and Pitney Bowes for many years, Carol Ann was a member of the Rotterdam Volunteer Fire Department and the departments Women's Auxiliary. Predeceased in 2002 by her husband William J. Aperance, Carol Ann is survived by her children; KellyAnn Biddle and Steven Schlamowitz of Rotterdam Junction, her grandchildren; Daniel, Dylan and Carena Biddle, brothers; Larry Harmon (Marie) and Frank Harmon (Cynthia) , sisters; Bonnie Whitton (Philip), Patricia Lawrence (Roger), Elizabeth Layo (John) and Lisa Harmon. Carol Ann is also survived by many step-children, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday morning March 26, 2016 at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway 7 Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY .A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Carol Ann's memory to the funeral home for her family.
