Carol A. Bonk,89, passed away on Wednesday Morning December 7th with her family b her side.
Born in Albany on December 17, 1932, Carol was the daughter of the late William F. Duval and Wilhelmina Anderson.
A homemaker, Carol worked for more than 13 years for Nuclear Medical Associates of Schenectady.
Carol was a graduate of Draper High School and was a member of St. Madeleine Sophie Church. A former member of the Schenectady Melo-Dears for 17 years, she was also a member of the Ladies of the Rotterdam Elks. She loved music, arts and traveling, she loved life and all it had to offer.
Beside her parents, Carol was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Robert Bishop.
Survivors include her beloved husband of almost 70 years Laurence J. Bonk, her two cherished children, Laurence T. Bonk and his wife Kim and Barbara Bonk Pettinato and husband Charles and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Carol’s family and friends will be held on Monday December 12th from 5 to 7 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. Carol’s service’s will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday morning December 13th at 10 am.
Interment in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
