Carmella G Wicks

Carmella G. Wicks 95 passed away on Friday March 1st at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, Carmella was the daughter of the late Louis and Theresa (Nappi)DeNovio. A homemaker, she worked for Draper High School for over 10 years in the Cafeteria. Predeceased in 1992 by her husband George J. Wicks Sr.who she married September 29, 1940, Carmella was also predeceased by a son Donald Wicks and all her siblings. She is survived by her son George J. Wicks Jr. (Charley Williams) of Schenectady, grandchildren, Darlene Wicks Corless of Ballston Lake, George J. Wicks III of Rotterdam and Angelica Parks of Middleton, NY, great grandchildren Jeffrey, Grace and Olivia as well as several other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday afternoon March 5th at 2 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady with a visitation at the funeral home from 1 to 2 pm prior to the service. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Contributions to a charity of choice in Carmella's memory.
