Carlton J Canton

Carlton J. Canton, 75, of Altamont, formerly of Schenectady passed away at Ellis Hospital on Sunday May 20, 2018. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Arthur and Myrtle (VanZandt) Canton. Carlton was employed in maintenance at the Sheridan Village in Schenectady. He is survived by his daughter Karen Canton of Schenectady, two sons David Canton of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and David James Canton of Orange County, CA and one brother Floyd Canton of Troy, NY. He is also survived by his grandchildren Lester Marshall, John Canton, Naheen Canton, Ace Cohn, Devan Canton, D.J. Canton, Patrick Canton and Natalie Canton. A Celebration of Carlton's life will be Tuesday May 29, 2018 from 5-6PM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.
