Capitola Williams

Capitola "Betty" (Sanders) Lake Williams 86 died Sunday April 3, 2005 at Ellis Hospital After a short illness. Born in Au Sable Forks, NY, she was the daughter of the late Orrie and Ethel (Doty) Sanders. A homemaker, Betty had a love for gardening and nature. She was predeceased by her husband Harry Williams in 1976 and was also predeceased by her ex husband Woodrow Lake Sr. and four of her children, Woodrow Lake Jr., Frederic Lake Sr., Ronald Lake and Crystal Fitzpatrick. Survivors include three children; Danning Lake of Burnt Hills, Byron Lake of Schenectady and Cynthia Kaczmarek of Schenectady, twenty grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon April 6, 2005 at 2 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Internment will be in Viewland Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Betty's memory to the Animal Protective Foundation of Schenectady, 53 Maple Ave, Scotia, NY 12302
