Candy M Thompson

Candy M. Thompson 46 of Schenectady died Saturday afternoon May 12th at home surrounded by her family. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Camilla (Disperto) Pitt and a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. Candy worked for Mont Pleasant Middle School for the past 12 years as a Para Professional. A homemaker, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Candy is survived by her husband Leslie R. Thompson who she married March 22, 1978, three children, Raylene Thompson, James Thompson and Calvin Thompson all of Schenectady, her father Nicholas Pitt of Galway, four grandchildren, Tyreke Edge, Lamar Thompson, Hailey Seaman and Tehya Brockway, four brothers, Clifford Pitt of Schenectady, Nicholas, David and Todd Pitt all of Texas and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday afternoon May 19th at 2 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 to 2 pm prior to the memorial service, Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery in Schenectady.
