Burton W Bishop

Burton W. Bishop, 66, of Princetown passed away at his home on Sunday, September 20, 2015. Born in Niskayuna, Burton was the son of the late William and Helen (Relyea) Bishop. Burton was employed by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation for 10 years where he worked as a Park Attendant at Lewey Lake. He had previously worked for the Golub Corporation for 28 years before his retirement. Burton was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson. Burton leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Diane L. (Gray) Bishop, as well as his children, Erin L. Middleton of Rotterdam and Shane W. Bishop (Cherie) of Duanesburg, brother, Gary L. Bishop (Fran Jablonski) of Rotterdam and 4 grandchildren, Tommy Jack Middleton, Megan Middleton, Ryleigh Bishop and Teegan Bishop. Funeral services were private at the convenience of the family. Interment took place at Schenectady Memorial Park, Rotterdam.
