Beverly J Wainwright

Beverly Jane Wainwright (Thackrah) went home to her Lord on Tuesday April 22, 2008 after a brief illness. Born February 29, 1928 in Amsterdam, NY she was the daughter of Ethel (Borst) and Thurlow Thackrah. She was married to John H. Wainwright Sr. on October 7, 1950 in Amsterdam. He predeceased her on August 27, 1982. Beverly was employed by the NYS Department of High Education with the TAP program until her retirement in 1987. She is survived by her three sons, John(Jack) H. Wainwright and wife Joann and their children Laura and Eric Jurgensen of Watervliet, David T. Wainwright and wife Denise and their children, David Jr. and Colleen Borst of Schenectady, Theresa (Mike) Vigo of Voorheesville, Karen (Anthony) Segretto of Clifton Park and Bruce P. Wainwright of Schenectady. Her five great grandchildren, Ethan Stephens of Clifton Park, Michaela and Alyssa Vigo of Voorheesville, and Laura and Margeri Borst of Schenectady. A brother Robert Thackrah of Amsterdam and his children, Phyllis Thackrah and Barbara Mezzio of Arizona, Lynn Gavel, Virginia March (David) and James Thackrah all of Amsterdam and six Great nieces, Ashley and Hannah Gavel of Amsterdam, Shannon and Britney Thackrah of Fort Johnson and Michelle and Marissa Mezzio of Arizona. Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home from 1 to 2 pm prior to the services.
