Beverley H Johnson

Beverley H. Johnson, 95, of Scotia passed away at home on Tuesday September 11, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Adele (Van Tassel) Harlow. Beverley was employed as a clerk for Abraham and Strauss in Hempstead, LI. She was a member of the Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Schenectady and taught in its Sunday school. Beverley was a member of the church denomination since 1965. She was a member of the Harlow Family Association. Beverley was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a Christian and Godly woman, Beverley was a seamstress, enjoyed hand crafts and painting. She is predeceased by her husband Peter Johnson whom she married February 16, 1940. Beverley is survived by three sons William Johnson (Marilyn) of Scotia, Peter Johnson (Audrey) of Ashford, MA and Walter Johnson (Mary) of Big Bend, Wisconsin, also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Monday 11:30AM at Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church 1230 Rugby Road Schenectady. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Sunday evening 5-8pm at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Internment will be in the Gerald B. H.
