Betty Sorella

Betty Sorella 87 of Schenectady died Monday Morning April 6, 2009 at Sullivan County Health Care in Claremont, NH after a long illness. Born in Burlington, VT, Betty was the daughter of the late Augustus and Victoria (Roscoe) Brown. A homemaker, Betty was a self employed hairdresser and a former member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church... Betty was predeceased in 1995 by her husband Joseph Sorella and was also predeceased by her sister Doris LaBerge and brother Donald Brown. She is survived by her children; Debra Prozzo (Michael) of Claremont, NH and Elizabeth Pacheco (William) of Kissimmee, Fl., her sister; Gloria Brown of Schenectady, grandchildren; William Pacheco (Amanda) and Todd Pacheco (Kim), great grandchildren; Juliana and William Pacheco III ,her dear sister-in-law, Margaret Campochiaro of Schenectady and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Tuesday morning April 14, 2009 at 9:15am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY followed at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Bradt Street, Schenectady where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening from 4 to 6pm.
