Betty Lindemann

Betty L. Lindemann 83, passed away early Tuesday morning February 2nd at St Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY.

Born in Schenectady on October 29th 1937, Betty was the daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Warner) Van Buren.

A homemaker, Betty had worked a variety of jobs over her life time. She enjoyed knitting, word search books, puzzles, cooking and scratch off tickets.

Betty was predeceased by her husband Robert Lindemann, 2 of her children Robert and Salvatore Fazzone and her siblings, Harold, Mary, Doris, Jenny and Josephine.

She is survived by her children Tina Fazzone of Rome NY, Sherry Lindemann of Colonie, Joseph Lindemann of Florida, Shelly Sorokey of Rotterdam and Rose Lindemann of Canada, brother’s George ,Charles,Edward and Larry, sister's Margaret and Barbara, 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation to celebrate Betty’s life will be held on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. (Becasue of COVID 19 regulations masks, limited capacities and social distancing will be in place)

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St Peter’s Hospital (covid unit) or to the Animal Protective Foundation of Schenectady, 53 Maple Avenue, Scotia, NY 12302 in Betty’s memory.
