Bernard F Hall

August 20, 1910 — October 5, 2005

Bernard F. Hall 95 of Scotia and formerly of Wing Avenue in Schenectady died Thursday October 5, 2005 at Glendale Nursing Home. Born in St. Paul, Nebraska, Bernard was the son of Ray and Daisy Bell Hall and a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. Bernard worked at for the General Electric Company for over 34 years retiring as a Steel Roller in 1973. He was a member of the G.E. ? century club and enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, reading and his music. Bernard was predeceased in 1996 by his wife of 61 years Leah (Hayden) Hall. Survivors include two daughters; Marlene R. Caldwell and husband Dan and Suzanne M. Alibozek and husband Robert both of Scotia, four grandchildren; Julie Hockton(Grahame) of West Palm Beach, FL., Dana Murray(Jon) of Malta, Leanne Wipple(Michael) of Chester ,VA. and Karen Sicard (Shawn) of Clovis, CA, four great grandchildren: Ashley, Aleisha, Jake and Victoria Rose, a niece Pearl Nowell of Schenectady, a nephew Robert Hall of MA. and his dedicated and devoted companion Jasmine. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon October 8, 2005 at 2:30 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 1:30 to 2:30 prior to the service. Interment in Parkview Cemetery. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Animal Protective Foundation of Schenectady, 53 Maple Avenue, Scotia, NY 12302 or to Community Hospice, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12309
