Benjamin C Zeller

Benjamin C. Zeller 64 of Rotterdam died Tuesday morning January 27, 2008 at Ellis Hospital after a short battle with Cancer. Born in Troy, NY, he was the son of the late Benjamin C and Matilda T. (Bubnoski) Zeller. A graduate of Watervliet High School and Hudson Valley Community College, Benjamin worked as a chemical technician for the SI Group for the past 30 years. He was a life member of the N.R.A. and enjoyed sailing and woodworking. Benjamin was predeceased in 1994 by his 1st wife Shirley McMahon Zeller. He is survived by his wife of 11 years Kathleen (Bennett) Zeller who he married August 9, 1997, his daughter, Heather A. Grimmer (Michael) of Rotterdam, his step-daughters, Amanda M. Turcotte (Mark) and Tamara C. Stoddard both of Indian Trail, NC, a sister, Deanna Talin of Hyannis, MA, four grandchildren, Colin Zellerguay, Rhiannon Grimmer, Morgan Grimmer and Cameron Turcotte, his best friend, Peter August and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning January 31st at 11am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. Calling hour at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 9 pm. Spring interment in St. Mary's cemetery, Waterford, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12309 in his memory.
