Barbara Whitchurch

Barbara A. Whitchurch, 70, passed away on Monday November 2nd in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Born and educated in Brooklyn, NY, Barbara was the daughter of Gloria (Cohn) Waidler of Brooklyn, NY and the late Robert W. McGill. A graduate of Madison High School in Brooklyn, Barbara was the owner of A Suitable Image in Schenectady for many years.

A member of the Upstate Independent Film Makers Association, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and animal lover who enjoyed crochet.

Barbara is survived by her sons, David R. Gordon (Tammy) of Schenectady and Nathan J. Whitchurch (Josie Tse) of New Hamburg, NY, her sister, Susan Gallagher (late Stanley) of Suffern, NY and her grandchildren, Aaron, Noah and Avigail Whitchurch and Coral Coons and her great granddaughter Rosalyn Eades.

Services will be held graveside on Monday November 9th at 2:30 pm at Schenectady Memorial Park, Gifford’s Church Road, Rotterdam, NY
