Barbara M Bonk (Osvoldik)

Barbara M. Bonk, 75 of Cape Coral, FL and formerly of Perth passed away at her daughters home on Friday May 12, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of Rudolph and Irene (Pultorak) Osvoldik. A graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. Barbara was employed as a pharmacy tech for Rite Aid Drug Stores. She devoted her time and energy in to raising a family as a home maker. Barbara had many interests, she enjoyed music,played the organ and was an avid gardener. She also was a dance instructor, artist and enjoyed to crochet. She is predeceased by her loving husband Joseph J. Bonk Jr. whom she married June 11, 1971 and one brother Richard Osvoldik. Barbara is survived by four loving children Deborah Ostrowski (John Miller Jr.) of Sprakers, NY, Patricia Pierson (Craig Girardin) of Cape Coral, Fl., Kathleen Bonk (Gregg Van Patten) of Altamont and Thomas Gaida (Carol Hetnick) of Northville. She is also survived by five loving grandchildren Victoria Gaida, Cory Ostrowski and Baron, Vincent and Lincoln Pierson as well as nieces and nephews. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
