Barbara Ann Henderson (Krajewski)

It is with a sad and heavy heart to announce that Barbara Henderson passed away on March 7th peacefully in her home surrounded by her best friend and caregivers Kim and Ron
Barb was born and raised in Schenectady by her parents Susan (Paquerella) and John Krajewski. Barb was predeceased by her husband Grafton Leo Henderson Jr. at an early age leaving her with four young children to raise and two businesses to run.

She was an extremely hard worker, kind, beautiful and had a flair for fashion. She befriended everyone she met and EVERYONE LOVED HER. She owned and operated Miss Kim Hairstylist, she also owned and operated the 3 J’s Tavern (later renamed to Duane Lounge) for 40 years. She enjoyed her yearly trips to NYC, Atlantic City, and Wildwood.

She has life long friends Marilyn (Mert) and Lanny Jensen whom she adored. She had a companion for 20 years, Gary Gore. She was predeceased by her parents and beloved son Joey (Rosemary Panetta) Henderson.

Barbara leaves behind her children John (Beverly) Henderson, Melissa (Richard) Pedone and Kim (Ron) Brate. She also has two grandchildren.

Kim would like to give special thanks to Dr. Arthur Lee and Deborah Wilkins for ALWAYS taking care of every need for Barb.

Funeral Services for Barbara will be on Friday March 11, 2022 at 12 noon at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Visitation will be held from 9-12 prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Schenectady.
