Arlene Williams

Arlene (Damberg) Williams 88 of Sheldon Road in Berea, Ohio formerly of Schenectady died Sunday June 19, 2005 at the Berea Center. Born and educated in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Christian and Barbara (Tillman) Damberg. Arlene worked for the Woolworth department store in Schenectady for many years before her retirement. Arlene was the wife of the late Joseph J. Williams and was also predeceased by two sons; Dennis and Christian Williams, two brothers; Edmund and Arnold Damberg, and four sisters; Anna Margaret Weatherwax, Naomi Damberg Tint, Marion Damberg and Lorraine Damberg. Survivor's include her daughter, Ardith Brearton and husband Richard W. Brearton III of Columbia, SC, a brother John Damberg and wife Peggy of Schenectady, a sister-in-law, Hilda Damberg of Schenectady, and three grandchildren; Jacqueline Brearton, Sarah Tichenor and Richard Brearton. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon June 23, 2005 at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 12 to 1 pm prior to the service. Internment will be in Parkview Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice 4807 Rockside Rd.
