Arlene J Styczynski (Borkowski)

Devotion to family, love for life and the warmth and beauty of Florida are what defined Arlene Josephine Styczynski, 80, of Rotterdam, N.Y. Married at only 18 years of age, Arlene knew exactly what she wanted in life. Arlene and her beloved husband, Stanley of whom she is predeceased by, wanted nothing more than each other, children and happiness. They were fortunate enough to have all three. A devoted wife for 54 years, a loving, supportive mother for 58 years, a dedicated employee of Rotterdam Town Hall for 30 years, a mentor to her grandchildren for 34 years and a cherished great-grandmother for 6 years, Arlene's commitment to her family, friends and career were admirable. Arlene is survived by her two children, Sharon (Louis) Bonitatibus and Gary (Kim Posillico) Styczynski. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Amy (Ryan) Crowley, Danielle (Ryan) Redmond, Greg (Stephanie Fernandez) Bonitatibus, as well as her three great-grandsons, Andrew, Thomas and William Crowley. Relatives and friends are invited to join Arlene's family on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Bond Funeral Home, 1614 Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady. Funeral Services will begin on Thursday, May 26 at 8:45 a.m. at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 210 Princetown Road, Rotterdam at 9:30 a.m. Internment will be in St. Cyril's Cemetery in Rotterdam.
