Arlene Bankowski

Arlene A. Bankowski (Foster) also known as Lucy to friends and family, passed away unexpectedly on July 8, 2025 at the age of 59. She was born May 26, 1966, in Schenectady, NY. Arlene was a beloved wife, stepmother, sister, and aunt.

Arlene was a brave, courageous person who fought a long battle with diabetes. She enjoyed cooking for her family before she got sick, decorating, shopping for purses, and playing online bingo.

She is survived by her sister Cindy Vogel; brother Richard Foster Jr; nephews John Vogel Jr (Christine Vogel) and Shawn Vogel (Gregory Myers); her step sons Mark Bankowski (Meghan Bankowski) and Gregory Bankowski (Gabrielle Bankowski) with whom she and her late husband have many grandchildren; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arlene was preceded in death her husband Mark Bankowski, her parents Richard and Geraldine Foster, and her sister in law Linda Foster.

At Arlene's request, there will be no viewing hours or services held.
