Archangelo Mineconzo

Archie Mineconzo 84 of Margate, Fl and formerly of Schenectady died Monday morning December 7, 2009 at Mt Loretto Nursing Home in Amsterdam. Born and educated in Schenectady, Archie was the son of the late Cataldo and Mary Mineconzo. A World War II army veteran, Archie worked for Local 12 in Albany as an iron worker for over 30 years. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, golf and bowling as well as any other outdoor activity. Archie was predeceased in 1990 by his wife Viviana DeLuca Mineconzo who he married in 1947. He is survived by his children; Angelo Mineconzo (Kathleen) of Edinburg, Georgianna Cochetti of Rotterdam, Jeannette Reed of Esperance and Victoria Mineconzo of Dunedin, Fl., his brothers, John Mineconzo of Schenectady and Albert Mineconzo of Las Vegas, NV., five grandchildren, Sheri A. Brenes, Christina Cincotta-Chevalier, Angelo Cremo, Michael Mineconzo and Dustin Mineconzo, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held Friday December 11th at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening for 6 to 8 pm. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady, NY.
