Antoinette "Toni" Schelle

Antoinette "Toni" Schelle, 91, entered into eternal life on Friday February 25, 2011 at the Teresian House in Albany. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Ricciardi and the devoted wife of the late Theodore A. Schelle, who died after 56 years of marriage in 1997. Toni retired after a long career as an Administrative Assistant from Tepper, Tepper and Kennedy MD Associates in Schenectady. She spent her long retirement playing golf with the Ladybugs and taking long drives, "adventures or spins", with her husband and best friend Ted,. Beloved mother of Pat (Ben) McKendall of Lake Mary, FL and Sandra Schelle of Troy. Grandmother of Kim (J.R.) Benshoff of Buffalo, Ted ( Jenny) McKendall of Aurora, IL, Joanna ( Tony) Flora of Jacksonville, FL and Carolyn ( Tom) Turner of Maitland, Fl. Sister of Rose ( Alfred) Giardenelli of Schenectady, the late Hilda (Herb) Kohl of Schenectady, Joseph ( Margaret) Ricciardi of Naples, FL as well as many nieces and nephews and three great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday 11AM at the Infant of Prague Chapel at the Teresian House 200 Washington Avenue Extension Albany. An hour of visitation will be held at the Chapel from 10-11AM prior to the mass. Internment will be in St. Cyril and Method Cemetery in Rotterdam.
