Antoinette M Van Eps

Antoinette M. Van Eps, 79, of Schenectady passed away on Friday October 11, 2013 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of Peter and Margaret (Guido) August. She was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. Antoinette was employed as a Nursing Assistant for the Baptist Health and Rehabilitation Center in Scotia for 15 years, retiring in 1999. She also acted as a dining room manager at the center. Antoinette was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church in Schenectady and was active in the Rosary Society and sang in the church choir. She was a member of the PTA and PTO. Antoinette enjoyed crafting, sewing and singing. She treasured her grand cats-Tiger, Blondie, Scarlett and Jack. Antoinette is predeceased by her husband William Van Eps whom she married February 8, 1962, one daughter Allison M. Van Eps, five brothers- John August, Anthony August, Peter August, Arthur August and Dominick August as well as one sister Louise Mazza. She is survived by one daughter Tina M. Van Eps of Scotia and one sister Mary August of Schenectady as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Thursday 8:45AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady followed by a Mass at 9:30AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 210 Princetown Road Rotterdam. Calling Hours will be Wednesday evening 6-8PM at the funeral home. Internment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park in Rotterdam.
