Anthony James Tucci 84 formerly of Lynn Street died Saturday September 11, 2004 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Cooperstown, NY he was the son of the late Domenick and Mary Jane (Shelly) Tucci. Anthony worked in the meat department at L & M Market in Schenectady for many years before his retirement. Anthony was also a self employed painter and had work for the Army Depot in Voorheesville for 10 years. A WW II Army veteran, Tony was a member of VFW Post 1895, Rotterdam Elks Lodge 2157, Polish American Veterans, Our Lady of the Assumption Church, a former member of the American Legion and the I.O.O.F. Tony was predeceased by three sisters; Marie Kubisch, Virginia Russell and Betty Livingston and his dear friend Rose Montone. Survivors include his niece; Frances Mergendahl of Albany and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning September 15, 2005 at 7:45 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY followed at 8:30 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Princetown Road, Rotterdam, NY where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Internment with Military Honors will be held in Saratoga National Cemetery. Contribution may be made in Tony's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
