Anthony J. Costa 89 of Schenectady died Monday September 13, 2004 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Florence Costa. Tony was a mechanic for the Army Depot for over 20 years and later worked at SUNY Albany in building maintenance for 10 years before retiring. A WW II Army veteran he was also a member of the Rotterdam Elks and Our Lady of the Assumption. Tony was predeceased in 1980 by his wife Mary (McCauley) Costa and also a sister Florence Irish. Survivors in clued a brother; Nicholas Costa of Melbourne Beach, Fl.,3 sisters; Gladys Condon of Albany, Alice Giacomino of Rensselaer and Marie Wright of East Greenbush and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Entombment in Evergreen Memorial Park mausoleum.
