Anne K. Szymanski, 89, of Third Avenue Schenectady died peacefully at home on Thursday February 22, 2007. Anne was born in West Rutland, VT and was the daughter of Adam and Frances (Kapusta) Kurant. She was employed as a Sales Clerk for Rudnicks Department Store in Schenectady for many years. She was a member of the Church of St. Adalberts Church in Schenectady. Anne is predeceased by her husband Victor Szymanski whom she married August 25, 1946, two brothers Edmund Kurant and Stanley Kurant and one sister Elizabeth Razewski. She is survived by two daughters Christine Alfano of Scotia and Celeste Szymanski of Schenectady, three sisters Catherine Swierczewski of Ballston Lake, Felicia DiSorbo of Schenectady and Stella Chotkowski of Schenectady also survived by two Grandchildren Lisa Alfano Evans, Lauren Alfano, one Great Grandchild Carnot Andrew Evans as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Tuesday 8:15AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady followed by a Mass at 9AM at the Church of St. Adalbert 550 Lansing Street Schenectady. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Monday evening 6-8PM at the funeral home. Internment will be St. Adalbert's Cemetery in Rotterdam. Contribution's can be made in Anne's memory to Community Hospice 1411 Union Street Schenectady NY 12308 or to the Church of St. Adalbert Restoration Fund 550 Lansing Street Schenectady NY 12303.
