Anne W Briscoe

Anne W. Briscoe, 94, of Rotterdam passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at her home. Born in Schenectady, Anne is daughter of the late Antoni and Wanda Orminski. Anne worked for many years as a pharmaceutical inspector at Sterling-Winthrop. She also worked for General Electric in Schenectady. Anne had a great love of traveling along with her other hobbies including golf, bingo, gardening and knitting. She took great enjoyment in her role as homemaker. Anne was a member of St. Gabriel's Church. Anne was predeceased in 2012 by her beloved husband of 65 years, Clark Briscoe, Jr. as well as her sisters, Genevieve Naparty and Lillian Naparty, and her brothers, Richard Orminski, Casimir Orminski and Adolf Orminski. Anne leaves behind her daughter, Carol A. Mayo of Rotterdam and her son, Clark Briscoe, III, granddaughter, Tina Robinson of Schenectady and two great grandchildren, Lucas and Jonah Bailey of Schenectady. Funeral services will be private at the family's request. Interment will take place in Park View Cemetery, Schenectady.
