Anna Starks

Anna B. (Cavallaro) Starks 80 of Shun Pike in Sloansville died Wednesday March 23, 2005 at the Eastern Star Home. Born in Schenectady she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Josephine Cavallaro and the wife for 43 years of the late Charles Starks Sr. who died in1990 and sister of the late Alfred Cavallaro. Anna worked for the General Electric and later retired from Mohonasen High School in 1979. She was a life member of the George Hope Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and of Fisher United Methodist Church. Anna is survived by her son, Charles A. Starks Jr. and his wife Nancy of Sloansville, a step-daughter, Carole Abbott of Camden ,NY, two brothers, Anthony and Vincent Cavallaro both of Rotterdam and a sister, Jennie Huffmire of Schenectady, four grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Rachael and Rebecca Starks and a great grandchild, Anna G. Starks. A service will be held Tuesday morning March 29, 2005 at 10 am at Memory's Garden Mausoleum. Contributions may be made in Anna's memory to the Eastern Star Home, 8290 State Rt. 69 P.O. Box 959, Oriskany, N.Y. 13424. Arrangements are by Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY 12306
